PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I have not gotten to see The Used live yet but I might on March 25th and I'm really excited for that. I found out about The Used through my boyfriend Michael roughly around 2 years ago and I fell in love. Their songs can range from upbeat to slow and sad, and I like that they can do that. Bert McCracken's voice is perfect combination of smooth and raspy. I love all of their songs, and I really really hope I get to see them live. Since I can't really choose a "favorite" (It's VERY rare that I can have 'favorite songs') I will just link you to a few random ones.

  1. The Taste of Ink
  2. Empty With You
  3. Together Burning Bright

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I've only known about Man Overboard for about a year (I think) now. I haven't listened to them as much as I'd like to but I have been listening more and more lately and I'm starting to love them. They're more of a band to listen to when you're in a happy (ish) mood, along with most pop punk music. Of course it varies with each listener, so for me it depends on my mood and what I feel like listening to. Lately it's only been when I'm in an (at least) okay mood. I would love to see them in concert some day, though. I've heard they're really good live. Since I'm not too familiar with the songs yet, I'll link you to their released videos.
