~Fugazi~

Fugazi is currently on hiatus and has been since 2003, due to the fact that they wanted to spend more time with their families. Fugazi is a 4 piece American post-hardcore/punk band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1987. The band consists of: 

• Ian  MacKaye (also was in Minor Threat) - vocals, guitar 
• Brendan Canty - drums 
• Joe Lally - vocals, bass guitar 
• Guy Picciotto - vocals, guitar

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE 

I haven't listened to a lot of other Fugazi besides the 13 songs album. I intend to download them though, and I've been meaning to. But the 13 songs album is a compilation of songs from different albums/EP's that they've put out. I first got into Fugazi about three years ago when my mom showed them to me. My mom likes them a lot and a lot of other punk music as well, and so she's known about Fugazi for a long time. 13 songs is an amazing album and I do recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of music.
